The dining table is more than a piece of furniture – it's where families gather, where people eat, talk, and laugh. And the dining room lightinghelps determine how these moments feel, from a quick breakfast to a long dinner with friends. A wooden dining room lampis both practical and a statement piece that shapes the entire room.

Wooden Dining Room Lamps – Our Models

The Konusis an elegant conical pendant light that directs light downwards, creating a warm pool of light over the table – individually or as a set of 3. The Nuxis intentionally minimalist and almost floating.

Bellaand Connyare compact and expressive, perfect for smaller tables or as a pair over longer ones. And the generous Discus(Ø 35 or 55 cm) with an integrated diffuser provides wide-area, glare-free illumination – ideal for open-plan kitchens.

From wood veneer in oak, Swiss pine, or walnut to natural shades made from alpine hay, cornflowers, or rose petals – the choice of material determines the lighting atmosphere above your table.

The Perfect Height & Size for Your Dining Table

The dining room pendant lightideally hangs 60 to 70 cmabove the tabletop. This way, you can see each other well, the food looks appetizing, and your view remains unobstructed. Regarding size: A table up to approx. 140 cm accommodates a 35-cm Discus, and from about 150 cm, the 55 cm.

For large tables, two lights next to each other or the flexible Konus with three individually height-adjustable shades look best. As a rule of thumb: The light should cover about two-thirds of the table width.

Light That Makes Food Appetizing

Dining table lampsshould be dimmable – bright for eating, softer for lingering over a glass of wine afterward. Warm white LEDs (2700–3000 K) are inviting and make food look appetizing; for pendant lights, we recommend 1000 to 1500 lumens.

Color rendering is also important: With a high CRI, tomatoes look red and salad looks green – cool white light makes everything appear pale. You can see which bulb fits in our LED selection.

Handmade in Chiemgau

Every dining room lampis handmade in Chiemgau. Our craftsmen work with wood from sustainable forestry, as well as alpine hay and loden. Veneer is carefully applied, seams are neat, and screw connections are secure. This way, the lamp doesn't tire after a few years but becomes a piece of furniture that you pass on.

True sustainability is important to us: no unnecessary plastic parts, local production. With a 5-year guaranteeand free shipping. If you want to furnish the entire room, combine the pendant light with matching living room lampsfrom the same wood range.
