Return & Disposal of Electrical Lamps

Leuchtnatur offers you the return of old devices in accordance with the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). Please note:

  • We take back electrical devices that we have sold to our customers.

  • Returns can be made via municipal collection points or our own take-back system.

  • Please do not return old devices to our warehouse without prior consultation — contact us in advance so we can provide you with the correct return point.

Information on the Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ElektroG)

According to the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), we are obliged to inform our customers about the handling of old devices.

Separate Collection

Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste. They must be sent for separate collection. This also applies to LED modules and electronic components installed in our lamps.

All electrical devices are marked with the following symbol:

This symbol means that the device must not be disposed of with household waste.

Return and Disposal Options

You can return old devices

  • at municipal collection points,

  • at recycling centers

  • or as part of the legal take-back regulations.

We fulfill our legal obligations via a certified take-back system in accordance with § 7a ElektroG.

Deletion of Personal Data

Please remove all personal data from devices that might contain storage before disposal. (Usually not relevant for luminaires, but mandatory text.)

Waste Prevention

We recommend disposing of electrical devices only when they can no longer be repaired or reused.
